Flagstaff Medical Center

Flagstaff Medical Center is a 268-bed nonprofit hospital in Flagstaff, Arizona, serving as the only Level I Trauma Center north of Phoenix. As part of Northern Arizona Healthcare, it provides 24/7 trauma care, surgical services, and intensive care for both adult and pediatric patients. The hospital is equipped with specialized units and emergency transport through Guardian Medical Transport.

FMC offers a full range of medical services including cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, behavioral health, and award-winning programs in spine and vascular surgery. In addition to its clinical services, FMC is committed to community health through outreach programs and partnerships aimed at preventing injury and improving access to care.

Experience

I completed an 18-week travel contract beginning 11/19/24 and ending 3/20/25. While employed at FMC, I worked in all areas of the hospital, including the Emergency Department, which serves as the only Trauma Level I center in the vicinity, and ICUs.
